Theory
- Definition – Sthai ,Antra ,Sanchari Aabhog ,Vadi,Samvadi,Taal,Matra,gat,Toda,Aavartan.
- General knowledge about the two main paddhati of Sangeet.
- General knowledge about raag groups prescribed in the syllabus.
- Life history of Vishnu Narayan Bhatkhande.
Practical
- Practice of five simple Alankaras including Aaroh and Avaroh of all raags under the course,Vilambit and Dugun Layakariyon.
- Practice of playing Da Ra Da Ra, Da – Ra Da Bol.
- Practice of playing one Gat and two Todo in the following raags.
- Prescribed raag – Kafi, Khamaj, Bhairav.
- Complete introduction of Dadra, Kharwa and Teen taal and practice of recitation Theka by showing Tali, Khali, Tali.
- Note – The syllabus of the previous year will be combined.
