  • In 1297, Alauddin Khilji attacked and conquered the Devagiri state. Khilji asked Gopal Nayak to recite his singing. Gopal Nayak kept reciting his singing for 6 days. Taking orders from Amir Khusro Alauddin, sitting under the throne kept listening to his singing.
