1.It’s clear from name miya ki sarang. This is type of sarang . The word miya seems to known it’s author Tansen.

2.This is beautiful combination of sarang and malhar.

3.This is raag of serious nature. Bada khyal, chhota khyal, dhrupad, dhamar and tarana is sang in this. Thumri is not sang in this.

4.It extend specially in the first and middle octave. Which is very ear loving.

5.Madhyam is used as particle on rishabh and nishad on dhevat. Which is indicative of malhar.

6.Both nishad is used in this.

7.Dhevat is curve used in both aaroh and avaroh.

8.Sometime straight swar is used after ni Pa, as – Dha Pa Ma Re Sa.
