(1).Definition – Sangeet, Vadi ,Samvadi, Aarohi, Avarohi.
(2).Practice of reciting the bol of the group of gaan prescribed in the syllabus in the form of poetry.
(3).It is necessary to know the introduction of two musican lyricists and composers.
(4).It is necessary to know the simple introduction of the raags prescribed in this year.
Practical
(1).Practice of three simple Alankars (in Thah and Dugun laykari).
(2).Practice of singing in Raag Bilawal or Alhaiya Bilawal in one swar malika three taal.
(3).Practice singing the following song groups-
(a).For Banga language speakers –
- Rabindra Sangeet
- Small songs
- Regional poetry
(b).Other for speakers of other languages.
(4).It is necessary to sing a song in Dadra and Keherwa Taal.
(5).Practice of reciting the bol of the Theka of this year’s fixed taal group, Tali on the hand. Fixed Taal Dadra, Keharwa
