Theory
(1).Origin and development of Bharat Natyam.
(2).Knowledge of South Indian Taals in Ekgun (Thah) and Dugun lay according to their jati Triput of Chatastra jati, Tistra jati a Talam.
(3).Knowledge of all solitary hand gestures (unjointed hands).
(4).General knowledge of the main classical dance forms in India. Practice of writing all the taals and bols of the syllabus in the southern taal paddhati.
(5).Brief notes on the following topics: Aadav, Nattuvangam, Korai, Tirmanav and Vritri.
Practical
(1).Half from 23 number to 50.
(2).Functional knowledge of solitary hand posture (unjointed hand). according to the Abhinay Darpan.
(3). Practical demonstration of head operation.
(4).Aadhunik dance in the following –
(a).Rhythm composed of seven matras.
(b).Rhythm composed of ten matras.
(5).Ability to recite all the bols and taals learned according to the South Indian Taal lipi paddhati.
Note: Syllabus of previous years will be same.
