Theory

(1). It is mandatory to practice by tying Ghungharu.

(2).15 Expressing advu and their pad sanchalan types in Thah, Dugun and Chaugun lay by hand and pad sanchalan – Tat (5 types of advu pad sanchalan), Nat (6 types of advu pad sanchalan), Ta Tei Tei Ta (3 types of adavu pad sanchalan), Kudittu Mettu (4 types of adavu pad sanchalan), Taiya Taiyi (3 types of adavu pad sanchalan), Tat Tei Ta Ha (4 types of Advu Pad sanchalan), Tat Tei Tama (3 types of Advu Pad sanchalan), Taghigantam (3 types of Advu Pad sanchalan), Kitat Katari Kitatam (4 types of Advu Pad sanchalan), Tei Tei Datta (2 types of adavu pad sanchalan), Ghiteidattatai (3 types of adavu pad sanchalan), Mandi (3 types of adavu pad sanchalan), Sarikkal (2 types of adavu pad sanchalan), Takita (2 types of adavu pad sanchalan), Tei Tei Tei Tei Tei Tei Ghighi Tei’s Advu pad sanchalan.

(3). Tistram Rupkam, Chatustram or Adi Taal to be told by clapping tali on hands.

(4). Complete knowledge of Thattu Adavu, Nata Adavu and Mittu Adavu.

Practical

(1). Knowledge of Tistram, Roopakam, Adi Taal, Champu or Mishra Taal (of 3, 6, 8, and 7 matras, Atta Taal of 14 matras and Jampu Taal of 10 matras) of Triput Taal of Chatasva jati. Special knowledge, like – Adi Taal 8 Matras and Rupak Chatastra Jati 6 Matras).

(2) Knowledge of 5 jati (Tistra, Chatustra, Khanda, Mishra and Sanrakshak) and 3 lay (Laghu , Drut and Anudrut) of Taal.

(3). Definition of Advu, 15 types and knowledge of pad sanchalan of each type of position.

(4). Out of 28 hand gestures of Bharat Natyashastra, knowledge of 10 non-combined gestures with meaning – Pataka, Tripataka, Alpadam, Katkatamukh, Suchi, Ardhachandra, Shukatunda, Mushti, Shikhar and Mrigashirsha.
