Practical

(1). Practice of performing Alaripu, Yatiswaram and Shabdam in any one Raag like Basant, Bhairavi and Kalyani in Adi Taal in eight Matras.

(2). The practice of reciting Chatustra Taal, Adi Taal, Roopkam Taal, Tristram Taal of Karnataka Taal paddhati by clapping tali on hands in South Indian paddhati.

(3). Knowledge of Shir sanchalan with shlok-Sam shir, Uddhahit shir, Adhamukh shir, Aalolit shir, Ghoot shir, Kampit shir, Paravrt shir, Parivahit shir.

(4).Knowledge with Shlok of difference of Drishti – Aalokit Drishti, Sanchi Drishti, Pralokit Drishti, Milit Drishti, Aalokit Drishti, Anuvrat Drishti, Avalokit Drishti.

(5). Knowledge of Girwa Bhed with shlok – Sundari Griwa, Tirshit Griwa, Parivartit Griwa, Prakampit Grira.

Theory

(1).Special study of previous years syllabus.

(2).Complete knowledge including the meaning of the word Shabdam.

(3). Complete knowledge of Navras.

(4). Knowledge of the meaning of 24 Asanyukt Mudra of Bharatnatyam Shastra with shlok.

(5). Knowledge of 28 Asanyukt Mudra of Abhinay Darpan with shlok.

(6). Distinction between Angik, Vachik and Aharya Abhinay.

(7).Knowledge of the meaning in which the 10 combined mudra of the second year syllabus are used.

(8). Biography and contribution of Meenakshi Sundaram Pillay, Chockalingam Pillay and Punnaiah Pillay.

(9).General knowledge about the three characteristics of Naad, Naad Sthan, Shruti, types of Swar, Saptak, types of Saptak (Mandra, Madhya and Tar) etc.
