(1).Knowledge of Lay- Showing different Lay by taals like- 1 in 2 Matra, 2 in 1, 1 in 3, 1 in 4, 2 in 3(Aad), 3 in 2, 3 in 4, 4 in 3(Paungun), Practice of some other difficult Matra Vibhags like Aad (one and a half gun), Kuad (swa gun), and Biad (two and a half gun).
(2).Taal- Taking out bol, Pieces, Paran etc. on tabla or mridang (pakhawaj) after seeing the lipi.
(3). Practice of combine Tabla or Mridang (Pakhawaj) and accompaniment in simple Taals Geet with, Gat and Lehra.
(4).Special cleaning and preparation in the previous taals and some important work, for example -, Teentaal, Jhaptaal, Ektaal and Some beautiful kisme in Chartal, Mukhada, Uthan, Tihe, Mohra, Kayada Palat, Rel, Tukde, Paran and Gat and some Tihai of different matra. and Chakkaradar tukade. Teentaal, Jhaptaal and Ektaal in presentation work . Some svatantra rel at Chartal and Laggia, Ladiya and Tabiyatdari at Badi Paran, Dadra and Keharwa. Some good masks and pieces in Sool and Teevera. Some kisme, Mohra, Tiha and Mukhada in Rupak, Dhamar and Ada Chartaal. Knowledge of dance piece.
(5).New Taal – Pancham Sawari (15 Matra), Tappa, Aadha, Punjabi, Gajjhampa, Matt, practice of playing Taal’s theka only in Thah and recitation with Tali.
(6).Students of Tabla, practice svatantra vadan (solo) in Teentaal, Jhaptaal, Aada Chartaal and Rupak and special practice of svatantra vadan in Chartaal, Sooltaal, Tevra and Dhamar for students of Mridang Pakhawaj.
Theory
(1).Knowledge of writing Taals of the previous year and this year in Taal lipi including different lay like Dugun, Tigun, Chaugun, Aad and Kuad etc. Complete knowledge of writing different types of Qaida, Pieces, Paran etc. in both Bhatkhande and Vishnu Digambar Taal-lipi.
(2).Micro and comparative study of Vishnu Digambar and Bhatkhande Taal lipi and their merits and demerits.
(3).Detailed study and Practical importance of all the terminological words of the previous years, Peshkara, Sath-Sangat, Laggi, Ladi, Chaupalli, Farmaishi Chakkardar Tukda and Paran, Gat-Kaida, Chala.
(4).To find out the place of starting of different Taals Dugun, Tigun, Chaugun, Aad and Kuad etc. by mathematics and write them in Taal lipi.
(5).Comparative study of taal of equal aakar.
(6).Essays on topics related to music such as importance of taal in music, importance of accompaniment, place of taal and lay in music, purpose and method of tabla accompaniment, lay and laykari, sath and sangati etc.
(7).Ten Pran of Taal and their importance in Indian Music.
(8).Life introduction of Modu Khan, Bakhsu Khan, Nathu Khan, Abid Hussain, Ram Sahai and their place and work in the field of tabla playing.
(9).Knowledge of technical words, varna (about swar), popular thaats, names and swara of thaat, raag, raag-jati, Audav, Shadav, Sampurn.
