Practical

(1).Knowledge of Lay- showing the numbers by giving the lay of Dugunn, Tigun, Chaugun and Aada Lay.

(2).Knowledge of combine tabla and mridang.Knowledge of preliminary exercises with songs.

(3). Recitation and playing by looking at the pieces written in the Taallipi and Bol etc.

(4).Pay special attention to hand hygiene and preparation. Other beautiful Mukhada, Pieces, Tihe, Qaida, Palat, Rel, Pieces, Paran, types of Theka and simple Gat in Teentaal. In Jhaptaal, Ektaal and Chartaal also new beautiful Mukhada , Tiha, types of Theka, Qaida, Palta (besides Chartaal) 2-2 Rels and 2-2 Bade Paran. Some good kist of Dadra and Keharwa and 2-2 Tihe. Other beautiful 2-2 Mukhdas, 2-2 Tiha, 2-2 Pieces and 2-2 Paran in Sooltaal and Teevra Taal.

(4).New Taal- Aad Chartaal, Dhamar, Ghumali, Jhumra and Jat taals tali in Thah, Dugun and Chaugun and playing together on Tabla or Mridang beautifully in lay. Recitation by tali in Dugun and Chaugun lay of previous years. Practice of playing, 2-2 pieces, 1-1 Paran, 2-2 Tihe Tabla in Ada Chartaal, Ghumali, Jhumra and Jat. Accompaniment in Dhamar, Teevra and Sool taals, 2-2Tihe, 2-2 Paran, and practice of playing on Pakhawaj (Mridang) of wrap.

Theory

(1).Knowledge of writing the Theka of all taals in the lay of Thah, Dugun, Tigun, and Chaugun and writing their paran, pieces etc. in the lay.

(2).Definitions and topics – Sangeet, Gat, Aad, Baant, Knowledge of parts of Mridang (Pakhawaj), purpose of Aata, comparison of Tabla and Mridang, their detailed history and method of combine them. Different parts of tabla. study of jati and definitions of Tistra, Chatastra, Mishra, Khand and Sankirn jati. Shruti, Swar, Types of Swar (Chal, Achal, Shuddh, Vikrat), Saptak, types of Saptak (Mandra, Madhya and Tar), Aaroh,Avaroh.

(3).Students of Mridang (Pakhawaj) have knowledge of parts and varn of Tabla and students of Tabla have knowledge of parts and varn of Mridang.

(4).Study of merits and demerits of Tabla and Mridang players described in scriptures.

(5)Essay on topics related to music, such as music in human life, place of tabla and pakhawaj in music, benefits of learning music, place of percussion instruments in Indian music, place of tabla and mridang among Avandha instruments.

(6).Life introduction of Ahmad Jan Thirkwa and Kathe Maharaj.
