  • · It is clear from name itself that it is a type of Bilawal, hence it is natural to use Gandhar’s curve in the avaroh, like – Ma Ga Ma Re.
  • ·Rishab is forbidden in Aaroh, so most of them use Sa Ga Ma, Ga. Scholars have considered the Yog of Bilawal and Kedar in this.
  • · The combination of Re-Pa, Dha-Ma and Ni(k)-Ga is of special importance in this Raag. Some singers make little use of komal Ni and some do not.
  • · Due to the curve of movement, there is a chaya of Gaur Saranga in it.
