Career-
- Purushottam Das was the son of Shri Ghanshyam Das and the eldest member of Nathdwara Parampara.
- By the time he was five years old he was able to recite and play different taals in traditional ways.
- Shri Ghanshyam Das ji used to take little Purushottam to the temple while playing for God.
- When he was only nine years old, his father died and the burden of carrying on the tradition fell on Purushottam.
- He was able to carry it on his shoulders. And followed his ancestors and served at Shri Nathdwara Temple for many years.
- Later he joined Bharatiya Kala Kendra and Kathak Center in Delhi and finally came back to Shri Nathdwara and left his body there.
