- Late Parvat Singh of Gwalior was a well-known Pakhawaj player of his time.

Career –
- After good practice you went to Bombay and for about 15 years there you came in contact with high artists of your time like Alladiya Khan, Bhaskar Bua, Vishnu Digambar Paluskar etc. and took advantage of their association.
- After the death of the father, you came to Gwalior on the request of Maharaj and got appointed in the court.
- In 1926 he went to Bihar where he was honored with the title of Vishyakal Visharad. He always gave due respect to the artistes.
