Theory
(1). Definition of the following – Sthai, Antara, ,Matra, Taal, Lay, Sanchari, Vadi, Samvadi and Jati.
(2). Knowledge of prescribed raags.
(3). Knowledge of prescribed taals.
(4). Pandit Vishnu Digambar and V.N. Bhatkhande Elementary knowledge of Swarlipi paddhati.
Practical
(1). Five Alankaras in prescribed raags.
(2). Practical knowledge of Aaroh, Avaroh,Vadi and Samvadi of raags in Thah, Dugun and Chaugun Lay.
(3).Sargam Geet or Lakshan Geet in the above raags.
(4). Ragas prescribed in addition to the previous syllabus – Kafi, Vaganla and Mohana.
(5). Simple Bhajan and devotional songs in prescribed raags.
(6).Prescribed Taal – Khemta and Adi Taal.
(7). Practical knowledge of the above mentioned Taals in Ekgun (Tah) and Dugun Laykari.
Note- The syllabus of the previous year will be combined.
