• In this raga, two ragas Nat and Bilawal are combined. There is Nat in its east and Bilawal in Uttarang.

• Each Aalap ends with Bilawal Anga. Curves of descending Gandhara and Komal Nishad are used as in Sannidhi Nidhi or Gam Pa Nidhi in Gam Resa.

• In Aaroh, when the nut part is shown, Risha is used and when Bilawal part is taken, Rishabh is forbidden, like – Sa, Ma Pa Ma Ga Ma Re Sa. There is a slight impression of Gaur here.
