Introduction
- Mandar is a tabla instrument made of parchment, leather and rice paste. This folk instrument is found in Bihar.
- Both the sides are covered with parchment and fastened with leather straps through leather loops at both the ends.
- Right side filled with black paste. While the left side is treated with rice paste. The shell is covered on all sides with leather straps.
- Suspended horizontally by a leather string around the neck and played with both hands.
