- Late Pandit Jayalal was the pillar of Jaipur Gharana. He was the son of Pt Chunnilal.
- Apart from his father, he also received music education from his uncle Durgaprasad.
- Pt Jayalal is only a good dancer. Not only but a good tabla.
- He was also a musician. He had a son Ramgopal and a daughter Jayakumari.
- Ramgopal was teaching dance in Calcutta till the last days of his life. Jayakumari was also a good and learned dancer.
- Initially, he lived in many princely states. Stayed for many days in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Raigarh, and Maihar courts. Prepared many disciples in Raigarh, the main ones are Kartikram, Kalyan Das and Firtudas Vaishnav.
- Pandit Jayalal was considered a great scholar of Laya Tal.
