- Devaki Pandit is the disciple of Padma Vibhushan Ganasaraswati Devaki Pandit and Padmashree Pandit. He was given music education by his mother, Mrs. Usha Pandit. He received formal training from Pandit Vasantrao Kulkarni at the age of 9.
- Later he received guidance from Pandit Babanrao Haldankar of the Agra Gharana and Dr. Arun Dravid, who is also a disciple of Gansaraswati Kishoritai Amonkar.
