Bihagda Raag is believed to have originated from Bilawal thaat. Both Nishad are used and all remaining swars are used as shudha in this raag.In this raag Ga(k)Dha(k) & Ni(k) are used as komal swar .Re is not used in aaroh and all the seven swars are used in the avaroh,so its jati is Shadav-Sampurn(6,7).   • There is a type of Bihag, in the popular Bihag raag Bihagada is created by using komal Ni in curved form instead of using tiwra Madhyam.
  • Shuddha Ni is used in both aaroh and avaroh. Vakra Komal Ni is used in its descending swars, such as – Pa Dha Ni Dha Pa.
