- This is an obsolete raag It is a combination of Puriya and Sri ragas. Broadly speaking, using the fifth swara in Puriya raag makes the raga Maligaura.
- Bhatkhandeji has considered komal Rishabh as the plaintiff and Pancham as the conversationalist. There is no sense of dialogue in them. This raag is Purvanga Pradhan.
- When Shri Ragang is used then komal Dhaivat is used and when Puriya Ragang is used then shuddha Dhaivat is used.
