Important notes-

  • It is clear from the name itself that it is a type of sarong. In this the association of Ni(k)Pa and Pre is melodious.
  • While doing nyas on Rishabh, the shade of Vrindavani sarang comes in this raag, hence the ascending use of komal Ni in between.
  • It is also very similar to Megh Raag. The difference is that Madhyamad is sung with Sarang Ang and Megh is sung with Malhar Ang.
