(Practical for 100 marks and one paper on Theory for 50 marks)
Practical
(1).Teentaal with 4 simple Tatkar Hastak (in the Lay of Thah, Dugun and Chaugun) 1 Thaat, 1 Salami, 1 Aamad, 5 simple Toda and 2 Tihai.
(2).2 Aadhunik short dances in Dadra and Keharwa Talas.
(3).Practice of reading in Thah and Dugun while giving tali on hand to the theka of Teentaal, Jhaptaal, Dadra, Keharva taal.
(4).By Tali on hands to Tatkar and Todo, recitation in Thah and Dugun.
Theory-
(1).Knowledge of the following technical terms – Nirtya, Kathak Nirtya, Tatkar, Salami, Aamad, Toda, Taal, Lay, Types of lay (Vilambit, Madhya and Drut), Matra, Aavartan, Theka, Sam Tali (full), Khali (faak) , Thah, Dugun and Chaugun, Tihai and hastak.
(2).Music and explanation of the two main musical paddhati of India.
(3).Knowledge of writing Tatkar, Taal‘s Theka and Todo in Bhatkhande or Vishnu Digambara Taallipi paddahti.
(4).Complete introduction of Teentaal, Jhaptaal, Dadra and Keharwa taal.
