Introduction –
- Changu is a percussion instrument and is made of wood and parchment. It is a folk instrument and is played in Orissa.
Use –
- An oval shaped frame was made by joining four half-bent pieces of wood. Covered with skin on one side. While playing, it is played with two sticks hanging from the shoulder. Majorly used in folk and traditional music among ‘Jungons’.
