Early Life And Training
- Born in Gwalior in 1931, he began his musical training at the age of 12 under his elder brother Kashi Prasad, and noted musicologist Dr. S.N. Lucknow.
- Later, at the age of 19, he moved to Mumbai, where he learned under Pandit Pannalal Ghosh of the Maihar Gharana.
Career
- As an Indian classical music bamboo flute player, he has delighted his audiences and fans across the globe.
- Her filmography included songs for stalwarts like Yesudas, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Anuradha Paudwal, Chitra, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Alka Yagnik, Bhupinder, Suresh Wadkar, Hariharan, Udit Narayan and others.
- “Yeh Paaney Yeh Patte” from the film “Ek Baar Phir” has been documented as the first film song of Anuradha Paudwal.
