Todi raag is believed to have originated from Todi thaat. In this raag Ga(k)Dha(k) & Re(k) are used as komal swar and Ma(t)is used as tiwra .All the seven swars are used in the aaroh and avaroh. Its jati is Sampurn -Sampurn. In this raag Dha & Ga are Vadi & Samvadi swar .The singing time of this raag is 9 am to 12 pm (the second part of the day).
