.Sometimes gandhar is disregard in aaroh and directly goes Sa to madhyam. As- Sa, Ma Pa, Ma ga – Ma Re Sa. This is swar group of bahaar raag which is take in this.

.Gandhar is used curve in avaroh always. Always show particle of pancham on Ni(k) and Ma on ga.

.Some singers believe this is combination of megh malhar and kanhda, some in sarang and kanhda and some in sarang and malhar.

.It is a custom to use shudh Ni(k)shad  sometimes in aaroh. Mostly singers used only soft Ni(k) and shudh Ni(k) use as an entrants. The use of both Ni(k)shad clear sarang organ.

.Disregard Ni(k) to go to the higher Sa and straight from the pancham to higher Sa as – Pa Ni(k) Pa Sa*.  When returNi(k)ng from higher Sa in avaroh, the pre- ascendant particle of Pa take on Ni(k), as – Sa* Pa Ni(k) Pa. Thus the particle of pancham on Ni(k)shad is very important.

.This raag is clear from the purvang despite being a utrang pradhan raag. Reason, this is type of kanhda and it’s dominant part of kanhda.
