Important Notes:-

.This is a type of Kalyan raag. This fact is clear from name.

.From the name it seems that it is combination of Shyam and Kalyan raag, but it is not. It is beautiful combination of Kamod and Kalyan raag.

.Gandhar is less and curve in avaroh. To reduce kamod organ in Purvang Gandhar is less use. Gandhar used only in one way, As- Dha Pa Ma(t)Pa, Ga Ma Re Sa. Ga Ma Re is used in end of each allap.

.Twira Madhyam is used in aaroh and shudh Ma is used in avaroh.

.Nishad is very important in this. Although Dhevat is not use in this but it’s used as particle on Nishad. This particle is indicative of Kalyan raagang.
