1.Shudh Kalyan Generated From Combination of Kalyan and Bhupali raag. Aaroh’s Bhupali and Avaroh’s Kalyan. Twira Ma is less in avaroh therefore it is not count in avaroh. Some singers called it Bhupkalyan due to combination of Bhupali and Kalyan raag.
2.Association of Pa Re is specialty of this raag. As we tell before the association of Pa Re is very important in Chhayanat raag. As far as association of Pa Re concerned, the difference between Chhayanat and Kalyan is that Pa Re is used as meend in chhayanat and in Kalyan it’s used as particle. As Ga – [PaRe] – Sa.
3.This is raag of serious nature. It’s playing very well in first, middle and higher octave.
4.Nishad is less in this raag. Some singer do not use Nishad and some singer it’s used as meend. Some singer use it clearly. The Chaya of Kalyan raag is more likely to remain due to more use of Nishad. Therefore which singer used Nishad clearly those used it’s less in Middle octave in comparison of first octave. The Chaya of Jait Kalyan can come due to not use. Of Nishad.
5.As we tell before Ma is not use in this. But twira Ma is show in avaroh when take meend Pa to Ga. This swar group is melodious organ of Kalyan thaat. Twira Ma is less use with meend like this, hence this is not count in aaroh, avaroh and jati of raag.
