Singing time -12 Am to 3 Am

Important Notes:-

1. Some people say it Malkansh and some Malkaunsh. Actually both of these make sense of the same raag.

2.  This is play in all three octaves equally.

3. Thumri is not sang in this. Bda khyal, chhota khyal, dhrupad, dhamar, tarana, masitkhani gat, rajakhani gat all play in this.

4. Raag chandrakaush is generated if we do Ni shudh.

5.  At sang time the first wire of Taapura is match with first octave due to taboo of pancham.

6.  This is meend pradhan raag due to serious and silent nature.
