Important Notes:-

1.Shudh Ni(k)shad is used with pancham and soft with dhevat in aaroh. But only soft Nishad is use in avaroh.

2.This is a raat of serious nature. This is play in all three octaves equally. Thumari is not sang in this.

3.This raag is sang by two ang respectively desh and bageshwari.

4.Gandhar is less use between two rishabh in avaroh. As- Re ga Re Sa Ni(k) Sa Dha Ni(k) Re, Sa.

5.The association of Re Pa is sufficient in this raag. Pa should be first octave. Both swar is not middle octave’s. If pancham is middle octave than Re will be higher octave.
